Welcome to Te Hononga o Tāmaki me Hoturoa, a Māori-led NGO charitable trust responsible for the delivery of a range of health and wellbeing services in Auckland. We were formally constituted in July 2010 as a result of a decision by the Boards of Te Kupenga o Hoturoa and Tāmaki Healthcare Primary Health Organisations to merge their entities into a single organization.

Te Hononga o Tāmaki me Hoturoa is a unique PHO committed to servicing predominantly Māori and other underserved communities in Auckland. We were established with the intention of continuing our commitment to innovation in health and not replicating other mainstream PHOs. Our organization is established as a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) Charitable Trust with a governing trust board.

Our commitment to servicing Māori and other underserved communities has not wavered nor changed, and it continues to be a central tenet of our organization. We must think and operate in new ways to meet the growing challenges faced by our community. Our vision and mission guide everything we do, and our values and beliefs, including serving, leading, innovating, and being accountable, ensure that we continue to provide high-quality care to our clients. Join us on our journey of healing and wellbeing, as we continue to provide personalized care and support to families in the comfort of their own homes.
